Ways to Code Python In linux

There are many ways to code Python in linux. They are

  • Using Terminal

    In the terminal, type ‘python‘ and It will take you into Python shell prompt.

    • Using IDLE

    This prompt is quite similar to python prompt. IDLE and Terminal are used to get dynamic response for the codes.

    • Using vi/vim

    You can type vi to write and save a python code

    • But I am Lazy :D. So I use gedit.

    I always will code the program in gedit and save it ^_^.

    To test if you have Python already installed on your Linux box, open a shell program (like konsole or gnome-terminal) and enter the command python -V as shown below.

    $ python -V
